Welcome to Rockfield Glamping and our beautiful Welsh sheep farm that we can’t wait to share with you.
I’m Sarah, your host, my family and I live and work the farm. We are a third generation active farming family.
Each season the work and the view changes and we’re reminded of the beauty of mother nature and we can’t wait for you to experience it.
I’ve worked in senior roles within the Travel industry for over 15 years so I’m completely focused on what you want and making your stay as pleasurable as possible.
We cant wait to welcome you to our home and share our views, luxury soft beds and unique horse box baths with you

Set in the heart of Monmouthshire, Rockfield Glamping provides the perfect country getaway.
This little village is famous for its incredible recording studios which was the primary studios used by Queen for recording ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and has played host to greats including Oasis, Coldplay, and the legendary Tom Jones.
Rockfield is located beside the River Monnow which is fantastic for fishing and nature walks and being set in an abundance of wildlife making our glampsite the perfect place to relax and unwind.
For golf lovers, less than 10 minutes away is The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club, with its championship 6,733-yard golf course. The course also features The Mansion, the former home of Charles Stewart Rolls, co-founder of the famous Rolls-Royce company.
Our setting is second to none with amazing views of the Monnow Valley. Each glamping area provides a spacious tent with seating, BBQ area and private wash facilities, ensuring you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your stay.
At Rockfield Glamping, we’re very excited to be working with a number of fantastic local family businesses including Oldfield Forge, Tasty Trays & Dream Capture photography to ensure that your holiday is full of treasured memories that you cherish forever.
What we provide
Stay in one of our beautifully furnished bell tents, complete with Log burner for those cooler nights and suitable for 2 – 4 people including:
- Each of our tents are accompanied by a private Horse Trailer bathroom facility comprising of Sink, Toilet, Shower & Bath with views over the landscape and the stars at night.
- Fire pit including BBQ rack.
- Solar lanterns and lights outside illuminate your pitch creating a stunning atmosphere whilst remaining environmentally friendly.
- Phone Charging Point.
- Picnic Bench & Log seats outside.
- Double bed and option of additional single beds.
- Windows with roll up sides are mosquito net covered.
- Standard furnishings including matting, plants, picnic basket and LED lantern.
- Four Person Picnic Set including12 piece stainless steel cutlery set, plates, bowls, cups & more.
- Free carparking just a 2 minute walk from your pitch.
- Welcome pack including starter log set for fire pit, Handwash, Toilet Roll, and Bottle of welcome bubbly.
- We have an on site Kitchen area complete with sink and hot water available for all and equipped with:
- A Fridge for each of our Tents
- Cooker
- Microwave
- Kettle
- Food preparation area

Don't Forget
To help you get the best out of your stay here’s our handy guide of what to bring with you
- Food & drink. with the major supermarkets only 2 miles away you can get everything you'll need.
- Marshmallows for toasting on the fire.
- A picnic rug if you fancy lunch in a meadow or by the stream
- Outside rugs/blankets for the fireside.
- Towels – due to covid19 we will not be providing towels this year however if necessary, we can supply towels at an additional fee and these can then be taken home.
- A camera to capture the outstanding scenery, star gazing and moments you will never forget.
Useful Information
- Arrival time is from 3:30pm, departure is by 10:30am.
- We ask our guests for a security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
- All bookings must have at least one guest over 25 years
- Dogs are very welcome on site on the understanding that they will never be left unattended on a pitch or anywhere else and kept on a lead. Fouling in any area must be cleared up immediately. Dogs must not be left in the tents alone. Breeds & Crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.
